chee han invited me to
his party on friday night.
thought i cudn't go at first
cos i cudn't find any transport,
but then dad decided to send me :)
which is really rare.

whole family spent an hr
in the car cos kota damansara
was so hard to find at night.
got so lost that
we nearly ended up in ipoh
and got detoured to kepong :/

mum got very annoyed
and wanted to take us all home
cos none of us'd had dinner yet,
but dad was in 1 of his
i-simply-refuse-to-give-up moods
and wudn't stop lookin.
"papa will sure get you there 1," he said.

really thank God we managed to
find chee han's house in the end.
almost thought we'd have to go home after all :)

the party was really really fun..
we had bbq on his roof!
*beams*
caleen and ning shuang were there
and a whole bunch of other guys,
and a couple more girls.

most of the guys were from the "naughtier" classes
so the atmosphere was..
um, very loud and rowdy :)

it was abit awkward
cos some of them smoked and stuff,
but after a while it got better..

chee han planned a whole bunch
of really messy games.
he and some cronies'd prepared
a whole arsenal of colourful
little waterballoons, before the party.

alot of the guys cudn't keep
their hands to themselves
and kept pelting each other with waterballoons,
so mostly all the guys were wet :P

they played some game
that required you to spin in circles 15 times
with your hand, or a finger, touching the floor.
after completing ur circles,
u had to run 5 metres to the arsenal of waterballoons
and start pelting each other wif them.

the one who didn't get pelted wud be the winner,
but there weren't any prizes in this game :P
only punishments.

the guys had to do push-ups
with a few waterballoons under their body..
so you cudn't let go and
just flop down on the ground,
cos then the balloons would pop and soak u thru :P

but it didn't matter who cud or cudn't
do the push ups anyway,
cos nearly every guy got sat on
and all the waterballoons underneath him popped hehe.
very funny la.

it took alot of persuasion
to get the girls to join their wicked waterballoon game,
yours truly included :P
they fongsui-ed alot of the rules for us,
like we only had to spin 5 times
and didn't need to do the push-ups,
before we agreed very reluctantly to join in.

but it didn't matter how much
they fongsui-ed in the end anyway.
all of us got really wet
cos the guys were just so teruk.
they actually pelted us wif waterballoons, u noe :(
so ungentleman la..

and just before my parents came,
i was munching and crunching very happily
on my fried chicken wing,
savouring every delicious bite, taste and swallow..
when douglas suddenly loomed,
only an arm's length away,
with a tub full of water.

started shrieking and
protesting that i was eating,
but men(??) like him just don't know their limits.
i got utterly, totally, completely drenched,
and with a limp, soggy, half-eaten
chicken wing in hand to boot :(

u noe, i must've looked really awful.
the sight of my poor innofensive chicken wing
dangling between my two fingers
made me laugh so much
that some other guy threw
another basin of water on me.

hehe, thinkin of it all now makes me smile :)
had a really really nice night..
and when i got into the car,
my family was all cheerful
cos uncle randy'd taken them to sungai buloh
for some really scrumplicious hokkien mee.

and when i told dad that we'd had a waterballoon fight
he said, "wow, so fun!" :)
he's so very seldom that enthusiastic
bout nethin so it made me very happy.

was on duty in church today,
so had to reach there early.
felt pretty worried leaving cus and mi at home alone
with a (nearly non-existent) sleeping dad upstairs,
but everything turned out fine :)

talked to ps. joshua and jie jie esther
about marcus and they were really nice.
jie jie esther was especially helpful :)
she suggested gettin a few "senior" youths
to pay cus a visit and get to know him better.
establish a friendship kinda thing.

it sounded good to me
and it sounds good to cus and mum too
so i'm gonna tell jie jie esther that it's a go :)

we talked abit about some other stuff
and it took quite a big burden off my chest.
just knowing someone cares,
and that they're really willing to help
makes me feel so comforted :)
God rocks.

Jesus loves, ppl :)

bloggin for the sake of bloggin
cos i'm bored :(

came on, checked gmail,
checked friendx (jian sheng calls it friendster for adults :P),
checked yahoo, chatted abit, downloaded stuff,
surfed blogs, and now here i am.

spent most of today
with mum, cus and mi.
felt nice and family-like, minus my dad.
was sorta like a single-mum-and-kids-thing.

i worry for my mum..
she always has this really anxious look on her face.

been helpin yunn hwa
make a friendship bracelet with her name on it.
it's purple and black.
will post a pic when i'm done.
only done up till the "w" so far.

do you know?
when someone makes a friendship bracelet for you
and ties it onto your wrist,
you get to make a wish :)

read about it in some friendship bracelet books.
it's an african lucky-charm thingy or sth.
your wish comes true after ur bracelet
wears out and fall off ur wrist,
but you must nvr nvr have removed it.

the only wish i ever got to make
was one about wen long hehe.
and it did come true,
sometime after the bracelet fell off :)
so the claims could be true.

yday mi came back from school
with this packet of wool
and pink, round thingies.
they were to make pom-poms :)
spent an hr or two makin some fuzzy multi-colored pom-poms.
cus joined in cos he likes furry, fuzzy things.
but then again, who doesn't? :)

flipped thru the craft book
liz bought for my 12th birthday today
and saw the project to make a knittin nancy,
or perhaps it's more generally known as a corker.
i'll get a pic of it 1 day, mebbe.

dug thru my magic drawer
and found the old corker i made yrs ago.
started winding wool thru it
and knittin' a nancy, or corking.

u get this really long, knitted, soft, fuzzy
tubular-shaped worm-like thingy as a result :)
if you make a nancy
(eh it sounds awfully obscene) which's long enuff,
you can wrap it up into a circle
and make a little mat.
you can even make stuff like mufflers and scarfs.

it's so fun to make stuff :)

goin to tmn medan wif mum tml.
wanna get more embroidery floss and wool.

juliet brought her school's (assunta) yearbook today
and we all spent our time flippin thru it.
mr. rao came a whole hr late
and later bought us drinks as compensation,
cos he didn't want the bother
of scheduling a replacement lesson
during his SPM-rush-hour-period.

there was this article someone wrote
about how to make ur own earrings
and it sounds so interesting :)

coincidentally enuff,
was browsin blogs and found this!

aren't they gorgeous??
they're handmade by a girl called celia
and were given to her friend pui ee :)

i'm so jealous!
i wanna make earrings too!
*turns green*
gonna make an attempt at em during the hols..
wish me luck, k! :)

God bless, all.

my kakak's gettin fired.
mum's sendin her to the agency tml,
thank God.

i really do think she's been givin our food away.
to whom, why or what i do not know,
but so much food cannot just disappear like that.

a few days ago, cus, mi and i
wanted her to fry some drummets for us to eat.
she sed we didn't have any.
yet i clearly remember getting mum to agree
to the signature-red ayamas packet of drummets
i'd added into our trolley,
the month before.

how can a whole packet
of frozen drummets just disappear like that??!
*tears at hair*
nobody except cus, mi and i would eat them
and yet the whole thing isn't there anymore.
i checked the fridge to make sure.

just now,
i went diggin thru the cupboard
lookin for some maggi goreng
and
surprise, surprise, i cudn't find any.
and i'm the only 1 in the family
who actually likes the stuff.

so ha, where did it go, hm?
did it evaporate into thin air?
did bondi or dracula unknowingly sneak in the house
and nuzzle the cupboard door open?
open up the packets with their clumsy velvets?
then gobble everything up?

i'm so sure
something fishy is not up.
grr.

even mum thinks sth is wrong.
she distinctly remembers having
a whole bottle of mushrooms in the fridge,
and yet there are only 3 left.
3 little black mushrooms.

do tell me sth isn't wrong here.
*huffs*

mum doesn't want a replacement anymore,
so it's gonna be hard w/o a kakak.

but at least none of our food will start disappearin,
none of our clothes will have mysterious holes in them,
and none of my books and papers
will be strategically relocated to some place
where i'd nvr find them.

yday was dad's birthday,
but we didn't celebrate.
it was a bad day la.
went to cus' skewl to get his report card,
and subsequently went to the principal's office
to hear some disturbing news.

s'like everywhere my brother goes,
everyone has sth to say.
and it's not in a good sense either.

gonna bring him to church this saturday..
and mebbe even mum too.
going to approach ps. joshua for help.

sorta agreed that he needs more professional help.
counselling and all that :(
might even need to call up a child psychiatrist
s. m. k. tmn sea's principal recommended..

cus's not so bad, really..
he was just born ..odd.
and lacks alot of guidance from the right ppl..
my dad for one.
*scowl*

keep cus in ur prayers, guys.. :(
he really needs prayer.

God bless..

ugh. i have so much to blog about
but i'm not really in the mood to anymore.
took a "nap" around 6+pm
and woke up less than an hr ago.
mum's not very happy about it
and expressed just as much.

last thursday morning
i got up a bit later than usual
so i ended up needing to grab a ball of socks
and flop my way onto my bus
with half my feet stickin out of my shoes.

it's a really common scenario.

plonked into a seat and started
unrolling the ball of socks.
5 seconds later, i stare at
not the usual pair of socks,
but only 1 sock.

took another 3 seconds
debating if i shud put it on or not.
then decided that i'd rather be seen sockless
rather than sockless.

*re-reads last sentence*
ok, that didn't make sense
but i'm too lazy to think of sth more sensible :P
the gist of it is that i went around
without socks the entire day la.

today was sort of a waste of time,
but then again it wasn't.
kinda fell out abit wif liz,
then she went about her CF duties wif esther
so i stayed in class
playing wif origami wif yunn hwa.

after recess liz went to do her CF duties again
and zcui, ee wen, vic, jane and i sat in the canteen for ages
catching up with each other :)

it has nvr been so absurdly easy to skip class before.
there were only 4 prefects in school or sth
cos the rest all went for some camp wif mr. chan.
the only 4 that came only came
to raise the flag during assembly, hehe :P
so nobody came to halau us back to class at all.

the best part bout today was that i got to
spend the entire day wif ee wen after that
just talking about everything :)
zcui and vic'd left for class
cos they had a really scary teacher for bm
and didn't want to kena.

we talked and talked and talked
from recess till school ended
and she caught her bus :)
was the 1st time this entire yr
that we got to spend so much time together,
and just yakker about everything so closely :)
it felt really really good.

really hope we get to do this again another time, wenny :)

mm, and there's this suspicion we have about my kakak;
we think that she's been giving away the food mum buys
but we don't have proof.
blessed woman..
k, i think i'll leave it for another time :P
long post this 1 is.
and i oredi omitted so much!

God bless, ppl.

Krystle, your true talent is numerical ability

You're great with numbers,
whether you enjoy math or not.
Your results show that you're not only good at calculations,
you are much better than most people
at understanding how to use numbers to your advantage.

How do we know that's your true talent?
While you were taking the test,
we calculated your responses to each test question
and rated your skills in 5 areas.
You scored highest on numerical ability.

People like you manage their personal finances with ease.
In the work world, your numeric skill
can help you in a variety of ways.
Because so many other people have trouble
understanding numbers and figures,
you really have an opportunity to shine
and use this talent to your advantage.

- Take the True Talent Test at Tickle -
.......

what??
i mean, what???

i expected artistic or wordsmith talent or sth,
but nvr, nvr numbers :/

but wut wud a quiz know neway.
*smacks self*

mustn't listen to liz too much.
she really, really trusts tickle tests
and got me to join their membership thing
so that we could compare results.

only thing is we haven't had a chance to,
cos we barely ever see each other online :P

which reminds me.
i'm not sposed to be on atm
*sheepish look*
sposed to fast the internet till tomorrow night,
but wanted so badly to come online
that i did anyway.
God, forgive me :(

church was really interesting today.
we had Vision Hour
and they showed us video clips
of pastor joshua all the way back
during the 80's and 90's.
apparently he has a PhD and
is referred to formally as Dr.,
not Ps. or Mr.

Dr. Joshua Yee, PhD.
wow :)

and there were videos and photographs
of all the phases the church went thru.
it used to be a really small church building,
but God spoke thru so many preachers and pastors
that He wanted our church to grow
and to move into a bigger building.
which brings us till today :)

the ushers gave us
a whole sheaf of papers and leaflets today.
among them was this little card
on which you had to write down the names
of 5 people you were praying for.
think it's a really good idea :)
i'm keepin the card in my wallet
now as a reminder.

they also gave us a certificate-kind-of,
which is supposed to be our covenant to the church :P
s'bout praying for the pastor 7 minutes a day,
readin the bible and prayin daily etc.

they showed us a whole bunch of videos and pictures
which they took in baguio, philipines too
and the place looks really really nice.
i want to go soo much now!!

asked mum about it a few days ago
and she said no immediately :(
apparently she took her father there before
and it was a really lousy experience.
then there's all that trouble with terrorists
and the astronomical fee we have to pay..
it's RM1, 200 *gulp*

but ps. (um, dr.?) joshua sed that RM1, 200
is actually really cheap cos
the usual price we'd have to pay to go to the philipines
would be around RM3, 000.
*scratches head*

ooh, but here's the super icing on the cake :)
we'll all be on national television!!
in the philipines!!
and some Very Important Person
would be there to greet us too,
if i'm not wrong :)

ppl are actually lookin fwd to seeing us there!

i'm gonna pray every night from now on
that mum will let me go.
it's gonna be such a huge experience :)
we're even gonna have a youth concert there!

and being a missionary (for awhile)
is on my list of things to do before i die,
so i really really really wanna go.

oh yeah,
liz and i made a list of the things
we wanted to do before we died,
a few weeks ago during chem :)

here's mine:

List of Things Krys Wants to Do
Before She K.O.s for Good:

1. Fall in love.
2. Get married.
3. Go on a really romantic honeymoon.
4. Have kids.
5. Have grandkids.
6. Worship lead.
7. Preach/Share a message to a congregation.
8. Be a missionary (for awhile).
9. Visit the 7 wonders of the world.
10. Go to Hawaii, Miami, New York, Paris, Tokyo...
11. Develop writing, drawing, painting(?), speaking,
singing(?) and acting(?) skills.
12. Get legs and armpits waxed *sheepish*

[update: 25th Oct]
remembered sth :)
13. Go Disneyland!

i think there were more stuff
but i can't remember now
cos i wrote them in her notebook,
on the page next to her list.
i'll double-check and update this list la :)

hmmz.
s'been another blabbery post,
but i had fun.

oh yeah!
for you guys who graduated yday,
i'm gonna miss you so much!!
school just won't be the same nemore :(
come back really often, ok?

God bless..

Wednesday, October 20, 2004

we all managed to go out today!
thank God thank God thank God :)

it was a pretty... emotional day hehe,
cos liz and i had alternative ups and downs
and kuok pin didn't noe whether to be happy or sad for us.

liz was down cos she had a horrible mornin,
i was down afterward cos she didn't want to take purikura,
then i got even downer cos i kept
swinging the bowling ball into the gutter :(
then liz got down
cos i started catchin up
and it was her turn to keep throwin the ball
into the gutter.

then kuok pin nearly lost our cinema tickets
while we ate at 1910's hotdog stall
by inexplicably leaving them on the other side of the table,
where he nvr even went :P
and then he nearly misplaced them again
when he couldn't find them
even tho we all saw him put them into his wallet.
he found them again after emptying out
his entire wallet :P

the worst tho,
was that when we went to the cinema,
we found out that there were
only 10 minutes left to our show :|

our movie started at 2.40pm,
not 3.40pm, as we remembered.

we got quite upset.
but while i went to the loo,
liz went to speak to the manager of the cinema
and somehow or other,
the manager agreed to let us watch
the next replay of the movie :)
so thank God thank God thank God!

we were really happy after that
so we went for purikura after all (yay!!) :)
it was soo fun to make flowers bloom
all over the place around our heads,
and poke sparkling stars all over the screen onto our purikura :)

and bcos there were 2 styluses/pencil-thingies there
for us to use to decorate our purikuras,
liz and i had a frenzy coloring our backgrounds in,
and poking flowers, hearts, stars, rainbows and borders
all over the place with them :)

yee, so fun la!!

we watched dodgeball afterward
and it's a really funny silly show :P

saw this really interesting stall after the movie.
apparently if you submit the salespeople your photograph,
they'll send it to taiwan
and the ppl there will sculpt a small caricature of you
the way you want it :)
you could be a little basketball player in a slamdunk,
a chun little skateboarder riding the slopes,
a couple of astronauts grinning away on the moon,
a little man with a big head sitting on a motorbike,
and so many many more!! :D

it's not a very accurate reproduction of ur face tho...
the samples we saw there along with the real photographs
had quite a huge difference :P
most ... um, less attractive ppl turned out
alot more attractive as their little miniatures :P
but that can't be a bad thing, right?

the downside of it all is that it costs RM229 per person
*faints*
wut a cool way to earn money.

when i get married,
i want a coupla grinning caricatures
of Mr. Future Husband and i
poking a flag onto the surface of the moon
*beams*

today was so fun :)
haven't been out wif friends
with my mum's permission in ages and ages.
i can't wait till the next time!! :)

me, liz and kuok pin :)
in front of the Manhattan Fish Market.

liz's, mine and kuok pin's.
coincidence? :)

this is the taiwanese caricature modellin stall
i told you about.
it's so cute! don't they look alike? :)
wish i'd taken a piccie of the astronauts 1 too,
the caricatures had clear plastic balls covering their heads,
just like the spacewear we see on cartoons.
i want i want!!

hehe this is so bright and sparkly.

wooo... purikura totemo kirei desu ne!
watashino dai suki desu!

Tuesday, October 19, 2004

oh wait.
my bad,
my last post didn't vanish after all.
*sheepish*

praise God.

i am in a sucky mood again.

my long, happy, bubbly post
about jiggling schoolgirls, bumbling cows,
origami bunny envelopes, tuition marketing,
pimples as large as ferarris and
eyebags huge as mount everest
all disappeared after i clicked on braden's link.
the worst is that
there's no one to blame.

then cow called and sed he cudn't come
wif us to pyramid tml to see kuok pin
cos his dad wudn't let him stay back after school
and he sounded so down on the phone
that i'm going to have to call him back later
and make sure he's alright.

then i call liz and she says that
her parents argued and are in sucky moods
and that her mum called my mum
only my mum conveniently didn't pick up the phone
so now she doesn't noe if she can make it tml either
and her dad apparently thinks that
if she comes along tml
my mum'll hate her or sth bcos
she'd influenced me to skip school.

and she didn't pass the permission slip to tian an
so that he can make the announcement
about the cf camp during assembly tml
and jian sheng isn't going to school tml either
so he can't possibly help her bring it to school
and ppl are saying that the president of the CF
shudn't be skipping school anyway
and if the announcement about the cf camp
can't be made tml then it'll all be her fault
and

blah. blah. blah!!!

and that stupid moron went on away status
and stopped replying me again.
it's always either his brother who's allegedly hogging his compy
so he can't reply me
or he's busy with something or other
or he's just about to go off, so sorry,
or he just doesn't talk to me at all.

am i being silly,
or is he ignoring me?
sth's up and i think it's always been up
and i think we've nvr quite worked it all out.

stupid stupid stupid.

got so riled while talking to liz on the phone
that i deleted him off my list for good.
*breathes in and out heavily*

i haven't been this peeved since.. since...
since yday.

bleh.

stupid stupid stupid.

and my weekend was a half-sucky 1 too.
dad chased me off the compy
while i was in the chattin momentum on saturday
so i didn't have time nor the mood to say goodbye
to all my friends
just bcos he wanted to pry my CPU open
so that he could extract my hardrive
just so he could boot my bro's compy.

was really quite pissed
cos it isn't the 1st time
they've gone and bodysnatched my compy stuff
before i have the chance to wrap things up
or backup my files
so i always end up losing
most of my favorite display pictures,
chat history, photographs, images,
wallpapers, music and downloads.

they returned it on the same night,
but then on sunday night they went and took my floppydrive
so that they cud try booting cus' compy again
wif a win98 floppy or sth.

and there're mosquitoes and mosquitoes
zooming and zooming around and around my head
and all over the whole entire room,
buzzing and buzzing and buzzing
and feasting and feasting and feasting
on my stupid fat ugly meaty fleshy bloody legs and

*grabs a pillow
and stuffs face in*
AAAuuaWWArAGAHahhhh!!!!!!!

God BLESS you.
*snarls*

i forsee alot of marketing going on
on my side durin these last few weeks of school :P
mr. rao says for each student we introduce
to his SPM seminar,
we get 50 bucks!
*squeals gleefully*

and since i need to start
earning some cash and saving up
for next yr's missionary trip to baguio, phillipines,
this will be a really good start :)

mr. rao oso sed he'll subsidize
our form 4 revision class fee
for this november and december
if we introduce some other form 4 students :)

i've nvr been quite this excited about
the big year-end holidays before.

but the odd thing is that
there's really nth much
to be excited about.
there's going to be tuition
nearly every other day durin the hols
thanks to mr. rao,
who's more hardworking than our entire class
put together.

but the even more odder thing is,
i think i'm excited bcos of tuition.

when i think of next year,
i feel all gleeful and jumpy.
it's like i'm entirely sure that
after the school holidays,
i will reign supreme in class next yr.

um, in a few certain subjects at least :)

it's funny.
i think i put alot more confidence in mr. rao
than i do in myself.
shows just how good he is ;)

wanted to start my post with
"my wallet makes me look as big as a house,
my eyebags are as huge as mount everest,
and i have a pimple as big as a ferrari up my nose"
yday.

but i can't say that anymore
cos the pimple up my nose
turned out to be a nose-infection
and it's gone anyway ^^

was complainin in the loo
when liz started exaggerating everything i sed,
and put the both of us in stitches.
hence the quote :)

ooh, another schizo-amoebic quote wud be:
"two jiggling schoolgirls running down the aisle
with a schoolboy bumbling very unenthusiastically after them"

this happened when we went midv on friday :P
liz and i went racing down the aisles of MPH
with our schoolbags jiggling all the way,
and cow went shuffling after our jingling trails.

it was so so funny
cos it sounded so obscene at the time,
tho goodness knows why.
i think most ppl thought we were a couple
of the most bimbotic schoolgirls
cos we cudn't stop giggling
at the silly sentence
we put together.

mebbe we shud start collecting
our schizo-amoebic quotes :P

just re-read all that
and i don't noe why i blabbered so much :
it sounds like a bout of rubbish.
sorry!

bought a couple of origami books on sunday.
they both cost RM50+
and i'd forgotten to bring my RM40's worth of MPH vouchers
*wince*

liz and i spent monday
folding alot of stuff in school
and while waiting for her mum to pick her up.
nvr knew how fun origami was :)
and useful too.
we're nvr going to need boxes or packages
to put presents in again,
hee!

to date,
we've made birds, flowers, hearts,
an envelope with a bunny seal,
a cake box, a triangular "lucky" box,
and a whole other variety of
weird-shaped boxes :P
fun, fun, fun!

was gonna bring the books and more paper
to school today so that we cud try more projects,
but ended up skiving cos the bed felt so good.
sorry, butty! :)(?)

skiving again tml to go pyramid with kuok pin.
at long long last! :)
we've all been plannin this outing for months now.
cow's comin along too.
we're gonna take purikura (yay!),
bowl, watch a movie, ice-skate,
eat, yakker, window-shop,
shop and lotslotslots more.

i can't wait! :D
......

re-read everythin again
and i think i've been in a blabbery mood tonight.
so much rubbish i've spouted :

k la:
God bless, everybody! :)

Monday, October 18, 2004

i'm in a sucky mood.
had alot of things i wanted to blog
about that happened over the weekend.

but just for today,
i'm gonna impart some ugly thoughts.

[for one:]
i think my cousin and my ayi
are spiteful old cats.

my mother has been the sweetest, most giving,
selfless, generous and kindest soul to them,
especially my cousin and dazhen.
but they say things about her
that literally boils my ears.
and all in my hearing to boot.

[for another:]
they are certified aunties.
whose idea of a jolly good time
is probably sipping cheap chinese wine
and gossiping about mrs. so-and-so
or some other inoffensive female associate.

stupid spiteful gossipy aunties.

[for yet another:]
to do them justice,
they haven't recieved much of an education
and grew up in a small chinese village.

[for one more:]
but:
"he who is a fool
is not a fool
if he knows he is a fool;
but he who does not know
he is a fool
is a fool."

[thus, for one last:]
since they didn't seem to realise
how sickening their conversation was,
i guess they fall into the latter category.

God bless them both.
and forgive me for getting back at them here.

the talentsearch thing started today :)
we were broken into groups
and i was in Yellow.

don't think my group did very well hehe :P
we were at a lost for what to do.
had to sing nursery rhymes
in different genres.
we got row, row your boat
and rock music.

we decided to do it in tune
to linkin park's in the end,
but it came out sth else altogether
*sheepish look*

but rock music's mostly just noise, right right? :D
so it shudn't matter too much...

i became the electric guitar and screamed abit.
benjamin and winson rapped and yelled and sang.
carrie... didn't noe whut to do hehe :P
.......

ROOOOWW!! ROOWW!! ROW YOUR BOOOAAT!!!
GEEEENTLLYY DOWN THE STREEEAAAM!!!
(yeah! yeah!)
*electric guitar makes funny screeching noises*
(girl screams)
MERRILY MERRILYYY MEERRRILY!!
LIFE IS BUUUT AAAA DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!!!!!
(more screams)
*electric guitar wails to a halt*
.......

we made quite alot of ppl laugh i guess :P
oh, we forgot to jump around and
fling our heads from right to left :(
but nvm la, it was so much fun :)

leon's group got london bridge is falling down
in opera genre.
i half think that if we'd gotten that
it might've been easier,
cos sir taught us (back in the cosmotots days)
how to sing pavarotti's la donna e mobile.
but u nvr noe la :)

neway, just hit on the funniest webby.
s'all about confessions made by anonymous ppl.
there're alot of awful ones
that made me laugh alot :P
go check it out!
think it's a useful site
for when u're overidden with guilt ;)

and liz intro-ed me to this other friend-network-webby
that's actually... quite fun :P
cos you get to vote for ppl
and be voted for by other ppl.
there's also this meet-new-friends-thru-sms thing
they have,
if that sounds attractive :)

if you're not already sick of friendster, hi5,
zorpia and wutnot,
try friendx out la :)

had some fun wif the cam just now,
so this is for ai ping :)
sorry for the lousy quality!!
s'not easy to take pics of urself :P

3 incidents worth mentioning happened this week.
plus some other little(?) things :)
like marcus actually finishing
Mark in the New Testament!
*beams*

it's so hard to believe somehow,
that he actually finished a whole book in the NT :)
am so very very happy!
thank God thank God thank God.
i was worried that he might take Christ lightly
and be really uncommitted,
but he actually seems to be quite serious about it all :)

told him what testimonies were,
talked about exodus ,
and shared about a book or two.

u noe when ppl shrug you off?
or absently nod at the end of ur every sentence?
how they show their complete,
or partial lack of interest?
well, there was none of that from him :)

anyway,
Incident #1:
a couple of girls and a guy
joined our tuesday addmath class
not very long ago.
1 of the girls and the guy are in a relationship.
[don't ask how we noe ;)]

the other girl is really pretty,
but.. doesn't have the same sort of beauty
when it comes to her character.
she's the one i'm gonna blog about :P

she'd been kinda insufferable from the start,
but on tuesday she quite outdid herself.
normally, she's just noisy and slightly rude..
but without realising it herself, i'm sure.
that day tho, when mr. rao cracked 1 of his
slightly more perverse jokes on her,
she grabbed 1 of his yellow SPM fliers,
crumpled it into a ball with her fists,
and flung it right at him.
at mr. rao.
the very man.

wudja ever have thunk it? :/

and she didn't stop there too.
after unsuccessfully hurling
a few more SPM paper balls at mr. rao
[he's a very very good dodger],
she went on to flinging exercise books.
and when those missed their (rather large) target,
she shoved tee yew
[say his name fast three times! :P]
out of her way,
and started chasing mr. rao
around the room with her ringfile.
and hitting him with it too,
when she could.

have you ever?!

the whole incident was so...
funny, rude, unthinkable and disrespectful
that i think it shamed the class alot more
than it did mr. rao or the girl.

big up to the man.
he nvr once lost his temper
nor yelled at her.
he was actually laughing the whole way :
yunn hwa sed she sensed
he was pretty angry on the inside,
but i guess none of us will ever really noe.

i think shi jin cudn't tell whether
he was more disgusted or tickled
by the whole thing.
he called the girl a sohai
and an embarrassment to all females.

remarks like that are common
when it comes to shi jin,
but i think they matter when he means them.
i half wondered if he did this time.

Incident #2
will be kept extremely brief.
realised on wednesday
that graduation's next week
while talking on the phone wif cow.

cried (almost) enuff to soak up a pillowcase.
nvr thought i'd cry that much
over his graduation before.

life's gonna be so different when he's gone.
when everyone's gone.
sucks.

Incident #3
aiman's bday was yday.
Happy Belated Birthday, Aiman!!

so we went to midv after skewl today to celebrate.
it was sposed to be a girly girly outing,
but jane went off wif her two new infatuations ;)
and zcui, huey bing and vic all ffk-ed.

went wif liz, cow, aiman and randy.
joshua and jian wei joined us afterward
and jian wei drove us home in his [dad's] sleek silver beauty :D

did a small bit of shoppin
cos we had to get aiman his presents
[don't ask],
and then satisfy our female tendencies
to bring home sth new :P

wanted to take some sticker-photos
[purikura in japanese apparently :)],
so we went to the arcade and
liz got change for 8 bucks.

us and a few of the slightly more enthusiastic guys
squeezed into the puny booth,
and watched as she slowly
punched the instruction buttons.

the machine was spoilt.
all the words were reflected mirror-wise
and were really difficult to read.

Choose a style!
Basic?
Potrait?
Panorama?
[we chose basic cos we didn't noe whut the others were]

Choose a layout!
4 large photos in 1 print?
6 big photos in 1 print?
2 big photos and 8 small photos in 1 print?
10 small photos?
12 even smaller photos?
[we chose 12 even smaller photos
cos smaller photos manage to make nebody look nicer]

Choose a theme!
Magazine Cover?
CD Album Cover?
Famous Tourist Sites?
Beautiful Scenery?
[we chose beautiful scenery
cos it was the 1 wif nice beaches]

Choose a scene!
[we chose 1 wif a path leadin to
a nice lookin buildin with lotsa greenery
cos i guess it looked like we could all fit onto the path]

then:
Ready?
1...
2...
3!

the path leadin to the buildin
popped up fullscreen.
with only the puniest, tiniest, faded dot
left at the bottom corner of the path.
for the 6(??) of us to squeeze
all of our faces into.
[WHAT???]

everybody turns, shoves, moves, poses,
arranges their hair and expressions.
everybody desperately tries to find the angle
where the camera is facing.
everybody tries to squash their faces
into the miniscule faded dot.
everybody wonders when the timer runs out.
someone wonders whether we have to
punch a button that says capture.

10 seconds later, some music plays, and
3 pixellated pictures of flurrying faces and shoulders
pop up onscreen.

Choose a picture!

liz stares at all three pictures
before selecting the one
wif a large shiny forehead,
wif aiman half faded away
into the rest of the path,
behind the indistinguishable feature.

another 10 seconds later,
all of us stare at the 8cm by 6cm
piece of sticker paper
that fell into the metal tray.
12 small tiny photographs,
with 12 same (now tiny) shiny foreheads,
and 12 faded (ever tinier) aimans
stare back mockingly at us.

i tell you,
8 bucks spent on 12 tiny shiny foreheads
and 12 faded tiny aimans
is well worth it.

i laughed so hard
that my cheeks, tummy and chest ached,
and i had to squat
bent double on the arcade floor,
clutching my tummy
and howling away like a complete loony.

liz was quite bemused.
she cudn't see what was there to laugh about
cos she was the 1 who paid
and nobody wanted the 12 tiny photos.

*beams*
funny thing is, i dun mind paying.
the whole thing kept me in stitches for so long
that it was all well worth it.

Tuesday, October 12, 2004

felt like posting some illustrations,
so i did wut i cud in paint
*sheepish*
removed all the weird blemishes
an ink pen makes, and the various bodyparts
of some other characters
that came in view :P

you can see where i cleared the unwanted bits up
cos paint left very garishly bright souveniors.

bleh.
:( really, really need cow
to teach me how to use photoshop.
i can't go on with paint!!!
it's so... pathetic *sniff*

and it won't be good for our future ventures.
ppl will laugh at my resume! :(

bah.
but forgive this photoshop illiterate..
and ...well, hope u enjoy :)

God bless!

the genie: one of my personal favorites :)

my rendition of Jesus loves sinners.

my first attempt at a goth, coupla months ago.

wanted a sunbleached summerbum look :)

Monday, October 11, 2004

didn't have a particularly nice weekend.
don't even noe why exactly.
think it was partly PMS,
and partly let down by somebody.

see, i nvr imagined how much..
jerk(?) potential he had in him.

not that he did nethin to me la.
s'just.. after some observation
of his behaviour over the last few days..
he somewhat disgusted me.

him and his iniquitous proceedings.

u think u noe a dude,
but then u see a side of him u dun like
and there goes ur good-guy opinion of him,
straight out the window.

but u noe.. by next week,
i prolly wudn't mind nemore.

fickle, fickle is the human nature.
esp when it involves good lookin individuals..
haih.
why la, why.

was in the dewan today for longer than i liked.
some local chinese artists came to school
and had some bonding-with-students-and-singing thingy.

they were attractive individuals
(from wut we cud tell from a distance anyway),
and their voices were... loud? clear? and strong?
but i? we? cudn't find much to appreciate
about them, apart from all that.

they nvr went up onstage, u noe.
they just sat in front of the stage.
made it very inconvenient for the interested
to give them a proper eye-over.

5 out of the original 10 artists came,
and 1 had to leave early.
the only girls who attended
sang weird R&B songs in stringy chinese opera vocals;
and the guys...

well, the only guy who left a real impression
was the tall one in the red turtleneck.
(but in liz's case,
it wud be the short 1 in the white windbreaker)
and that was cos we cud clearly see
that he had broad shoulders..
and a nice ass.

they had talent la.
but their songs definitely needed some workin on,
or as far as i cud tell anyway..

it cud be that urs truly is too chinese-illiterate
to fully appreciate the beauty of their prose.

been using this really plain and ugly
indigo-ish bag mum got for free
from some insurance company
called Tokio Marine.

but seeing how much the bag looks like
it came from one of those shoddy pasar malam stalls,
most ppl rightly imagine that the word
tokyo was mispelled as tokio.
not very flattering.
it only heightens the already supreme
cheaplak-ness of the bag.

got sick of being stuck to such an ugly lookin thing,
so i spent the most part of last night
and this afternoon decorating it :)
it looked really horrid at first.
but now i'm glad it turned out the way it did.

you can see the pink shoelaces from korea
dat liz got for me as a bday gift :)

erk, sudden revelation...
i wonder wut she'll say when she sees
whut i've done wif it..

heh.
have a great day! :D

the bag i made/decorated :)

the mess that came out of making it.

Thursday, October 07, 2004

finally finished the cranberry dragon yday :)
surprisingly, it wasn't as difficult as the pink teddy.
gonna give it to tian an
as his belated bday gift on monday.

but i wonder if he'll like it heh.
it looks more like a mongoose wif wings.
(but what does a mongoose look like neway?)

jian sheng gave it 4/8
and called it a super woofer.
it irked me abit.

added a gold ribbon round its neck
and i think it looks really sweet now :)
looks like a cute traditional handmade toy.
which i guess it is :P

mayday, mayday.
unidentified object soaring toward ayi.
wake up, woman!!

finally got a haircut for the 1st time
since i got my contact lenses.
dun think it's particularly nice,
but my ponytail is bobbier la.

urgh, been sleepin so late this whole week.
s'mostly the internet and my compy's fault.
spent tues and wed huntin down viruses
and removing ad/spyware.
i have had, to date, 6 viruses
and 169 pests.

s'no wonder the compy's been
lagging and hanging like crazy.

dl-ed a whole bundle of
spyware removal and anti-virus programs
out of desperation.
think i went abit overboard
cos now my compy has
trend micro pc-cillin, zonealarm,
spybot, spyware blaster, ad-aware

and some windows registry scanner thing.

but some good has come out of this.
after a whole nightmare of 2 days spent on
searching, surfing, downloading, installin
and removing the pests from my poor compy,
i now noe exactly which programs/sites are the best :)

Zyrk's Recommendations
1. [spybot] for spyware
2. [ad-aware] for adware
3. [zonealarm] for overall protection
4. any virus scanner/detector will do :P
cos u have to manually delete the file anyway.
5. [download.com] to find/dl anything.
but make sure u read the reviews and comments
before dl-ing nethin.

also found a really nifty site
for serial and registration codes :P
my compy's runnin the full version of zonealarm now,
all thanks to that chun, chun webby.

it's a wonder nobody's gone
and closed it down yet.
it's so obviously illegal.
i'm makin sure i make good use of it
before somebody does :P

oh, and go wincustomize.com
and try out their windowblinds.
it really is very very chun :)
my desktop looks like this now:

isn't it absolutely beeyewteefool? :D
i'm in love wif my compy now
*hugs the compy*

God bless, ppl!

Ask your readers to think of three photos
they'd like to see posted to your blog.
(Things around your house or whatever.)
When you have enough requests, post them!
Have fun!

.......

been seeing that announcement for weeks now,
so i think i will try it :)
will remove the a:hover flip thing
so that (hopefully) the blog won't lag nemore
when viewin pics.
[update:] haih, tried but it didn't work

tell me seriously tho,
do i post too many pics?
if u think so i'll do my best to refrain :P
it's hard to resist
when nobody's stoppin me.

so what would you guys like to see?
my toilet bowl?
my underwear drawer?
my magic drawer?
what i look like at my worst?
*grinz*

but be merciful la.
it'd hurt my pride alot to deface my beauty here
*blink dolefully*

tuit today was really nice *grinz*
addmath tuit, that is.
mr. rao was talkin about lettin a select few of us
attend his lower 6
addmath class on saturday,
so that they'd get to learn more and
testify to the rest of us about
how very marvelous mr. rao's teachin skills are.
or sth like that neway :P

the select few were daniel, juliet and
the guy who only ever wears
white shirts and hawaiian shorts
(i think his name is nicholas).
wasn't surprising
cos they're the elite in all our classes.

(get that.
all our classes.
that's like, chem, phys and addmath.
daniel and juliet got 98/100
for a chem test mr. rao gave last month.
that's how good they are.
*extremely bemused look*
i always wonder how they do it.
do they study everyday or sth??
but come to think of it, they prolly do.)

so mr. rao was tellin the class
that only the 3 were allowed to attend,
and not the rest of us
because our standards were too low,
our basics were horrendous,
and we could nvr grasp the concepts
nor understand crap in his lower 6 class,
even if we devoted every itty bitty bit of attention
to his dark, handsome face
and the shiny whiteboard.
haha :P

and here's where the really cool bit comes in :D
he suddenly looked at me, and
he said:
"krystle can also join the lower 6
class
."

do you noe how good it feels?
to be suddenly found flounderin amongst the elite?
after months of thinkin
u were really thick at everythin?
can you imagine the swift euphoria
that absolutely swept thru my veins?

:D hehe!!
think this kinda shows
that i am good in math
*beams proudly*
and all along i thought
i'd lost my
chun mathematical skills.

bwahaha...
no longer, no longer.
my abilities have once more been discovered,
and by mr. rao no less!
one day i shall top even the most elite,
and our school shall see
the single most brilliant
female mathematics student ever in history.
i shall reign supreme over all the nutheads
who used to score such
astronomical marks for addmath!
everyone shall kowtow to the zyrk!

now if only i can manage
to scrape a pass for this term's addmath...

Monday, October 04, 2004

everybody's been refurbishin/creatin blogs recently.
1st liz, 2nd yi yean, afterward kuok pin,
then cal, and now zcui.
even mei yii and i wanna get our blogs new looks :P

the problem is lookin for a nice template.
took me days and days to find this one,
and i refuse to go thru even more days of template huntin.
not in the near future neway.
it really burns out my already-astigmated-eyeballs :P

s'kinda funny.
i noe so many ppl's blogger usernames and passwords now.
s'all 'cos i noe how to tiok codes,
and have the milk of kindness
flowin thru the quart of my veins :)

but screw all that.
the biggest, most unbelievably wonderful
thing happened today.

cus accepted Christ :D

Jesus, i just praise you and praise you :)
i'm so happy i cud...
hehe i dunno, i'm just so happy!!

was bloggin halfway earlier
when cus asked me
what was the best way to pray for sth u wanted,
so i went to talk to him.

i'm not sure how we got onto the subject of Jesus,
but we did,
and i talked about how Jesus died on the cross
for the price of our sins and all that.

after i'd finished talking,
i asked him whether he wanted
to accept Jesus into his heart,
and he said "i think so" :)

it all came so unexpectedly
that i didn't feel the happiness until much later.
the impact came an hour late :)
was tellin cow about it online
and then i cud feel my eyes prickling wif tears.

Soli Deo Gloria.
thank you so much, dear God.

was online for nearly the entire afternoon.
played yahoo! pool,
swapped pictures with hello,
and browsed thru pinglet.com and kirstenulve.com.

vector art is soo soo chun.
you don't have to noe much about art
to see that ping and kirsten's stuff
are really incredibly good.

cow and i were so immersed
in surfing their illustrations
that we forgot to make a move
on the pool table :P
yahoo! nearly kicked cow out a coupla times
because they thought he'd forfeited the game hehe.

seeing their vector really inspired us.
cow and i have decided to join forces
to create the coolest, most amazing vector art
that the world has ever seen.
i shall provide the illustrations,
and he will color them in.

our work will appear in top magazines
in london, new york, paris, tokyo,
and novel publishers will flock requests
to our inbox beseeching us
to create a specific vector for their new book covers...

we shall earn tons and tons of money
and our name will be known all over the world.
we will be interviewed on global television,
and have our work and photographs
scattered all over the endless boundaries on the internet.
we will be the idols of every self-respecting graphic artist
and have our name sprayed as graffiti on walls.
everybody in the graphic arts industry shall
bow down to our immovable force
and confess that we are the greatest.

with the power and blessings of God,
we shall be world famous.
muahahahaha...

:P
i'm dreamin again.
but we were very inspired
and we did agree to join forces :)

was so enthusiastic
that the moment i had time after dinner,
i started on an illustration right away.
am quite proud of it really :P
it's definitely not half as good
as the stuff you can see on pinglet and kirstenulve,
but hey, it'll get somewhere someday ;)
i truly believe that.

neway i scanned it in,
for cow and for all of you
who faithfully read my blog (almost) everyday :P

hope you like it.

kinda small here.
but what do you think? :)

Sunday, October 03, 2004

haven't been postin much
for the last coupla weeks,
so there're alot of stuff i want to blog about
that i haven't yet :P

so this entire post
is dedicated to catchin up
wif the highlights of last week :)
which includes yday and today heh.
so be prepared
for a loooong, tedious,
and, quite literally, picturesque post
*grin*

Monday
came home from skewl to find
a little spotted female puppy under our sofa.
she came in thru the gap between
the pillar and the automatic gate,
and had been playin wif draccy all day, it seemed :)

they were really rough, but cute.
they bit and jumped on each other soo much
that it looked like they were fightin :)
made u feel so fuzzily happy
to see them gettin along the way they did hehe.

she definitely wasn't a stray,
cos she was clean and plumpish.
you could tell that she had an owner
who took really good care of her.
she had little faded spots
among black patches on her coat,
so i think she must've been part dalmation.

we wud've loved to keep her,
but she wasn't around the next day
when i got home from school.
felt quite sad :(
s'funny how something can come
and then leave so suddenly.

neway, here're some pics of the
short-lived time the puppy, draccy
and we spent together.

hehe, she's lickin her nosie here.
isn't she sweet?
.......

mimmles trying to control both puppies :)
.......

can you see her faded spots?
.......

Tuesday
there wasn't school because of the lantern festival,
but was at tuit for nearly the entire day.
shi jin, yunn hwa, cow, kien soon and i
were the only ones in nice, clean outside clothes hehe.
every1 else were in uniform,
cos they'd come right after school.
felt nice :)

at night,
leon msged and asked if i wanted to go for a walk
to the field near our houses,
to see whether nebody was celebratin.
asked dad for permission
and he was suprisingly happy to let me go out :D

he told me to have fun,
but that leon had to walk me home
for my safety, ha.

met some of leon's friends at the field,
and got to noe kenneth :)
it'd rained earlier
so nobody was out celebratin much.
in the end,
we three walked all over the neighbourhood
lookin for some... life :P

ended up at mei yii and hui yii's place
and celebratin at the field opposite their house.
i had alot of fun that night :)
nvr knew how cool it was to be out
walkin about at night like neighbourhood bums hehe.
have nvr tasted freedom like that before.
really really want to get out more :)

here're the pics:

hui yii, weng soon and mei yii!
doesn't it look so cosy? :)
.......

from left to right:
mei yii, me, weng soon, and hui yii.
.......

from left to right:
kenneth, leon, weng soon,
hui yii and me
.......

and this was kenneth's idea:
look! a smiley face! :P
.......

Thursday
went for physics tuit,
but mr. rao wasn't there until 3.30pm :P
he'd gone to send his priceless merce E230 (or sth like that)
to the workshop,
cos the computerized system'd failed to tell him
that his breaks had worn out.

and when he finally came to class,
he spent the better part of 1 hr
complainin, in his way, about how incompetent
the ppl at the workshop were.

he talked about how the breaks'd worn out
(all according to the laws of physics),
how the computerized system worked,
why it was that the ppl at the workshop were hopeless,
all the futile things they did to try appease his wrath,
and how he was going about to sue their asses nicely :P

hehe i think that was the pissiest i've ever seen him.
and even then,
he did a very good job of holdin his anger in:
he looked as calm and collected as ever.
was only thru some things he sed
that you could tell he was really angry.

mr. rao wud make a great politician, methinks.
he's got success written all over him.
.......

Yesterday
got to church by 1++pm,
and practised with the worship team
for nearly the entire while until 3++pm.

hehe, i nvr knew how much hard work
you had to put in to sing.
during vocal traning,
you had to stuff a small towel
into your mouth,
and sing scales and arpeggios.

and the scales went up to nearly 4 octaves u noe!
when we reached the 4th "Do",
most of us cud barely squeak ledi.

then onstage,
they had to check which mics projected sounds
from which speakers.
and a whole lot of other technical stuff
like whether there was a buzz,
and whether the bass was too loud etc etc.

i had alot of fun la :)
talked mostly to john and jamie,
and they're really nice.
john was so funny,
apparently most of his frenz'd gotten married ledi
(he's around 25)
but he was still single...

i think i embarassed him abit hehe.
cos i went around pointing at 20+ yr old girls like jamie
and asking him "so why don't you ask her out?"

it was really nice worshippin on stage.
i'm not sure why.
i think it's cos the lights are everywhere
and you feel as tho you're in the heat of it all :)
you can actually feel the ground below you vibrate
along with the electric guitars and drums hehe.
made u super jumpy.

ooh, and leon brought kenneth to church!! :)
our cell group's growin really fast hehe.
at the beginnin of the yr,
there were only 3 to 5 ppl
but now there're like 15!! :D
attendance is kinda lousy hehe,
but still!! very happy la ^^

leon, tian an and i signed up
for the talentshow thing that's comin up soon.
we can't prepare for this 1,
cos it's all gonna be impromptu :P
the judges can ask you to do nethin,
and you'll have to do it.

hehe, i wonder how it's gonna be.
i'm pretty excited :P

the most unexpected bit bout this day tho,
was that brendan msged late at night
to say he was sorry :)

s'amazin how much healing can come
thru a couple of sincere words :)
ps joshua, you've sed it all.
.......

Today
mum and ayi sed i'd changed alot
for the better ever since attending mr. rao's tuit.
ayi sez that i'm less sampat now :P
i wonder if that's true.

started on a cranberry coloured dragon.
so far it's lookin kinda bad :P
s'mostly cos felt isn't the best material
for small stuffed toys heh.
have only done the ears and a wing,
but i'm already feeling lazy and uncommited :/
i want a sewing machine!!!

helped kuok pin with his blog again,
cos he perversely insisted
on having the red and black 1
with the linkin park music.
and i actually think that it looks alot nicer now :)
go see, go see!

oh, and i finally got some samples
of liz's and my handwriting! :P

that's all for today i think.
lazy to type liao la :P

happy comparing!

the above is a cropped bit
of liz's photocopied bible knowledge hw :P
see how spiky and narrow they are?
.......

this is a part of the script
esther wanted me to write about God's Purpose.

mine's all round and wide :P

whoa.
cus is really gettin tech-savvy.
or wtv it is you call it :P
he apparently downloaded some windows blind thing
and now his windows theme is sooo chun.

it's black, sleek, and some serious eyecandy.
cow would love this, methinks :P

half want to post a screenshot here,
but since it's his com and there's no hello...
nah.
and i think i've been postin
too many pics neway :P

speakin of which,
check out liz's pics in japan at photobucket!
(kuok pin saw some and sed that
she's grown "sooo beautiful" :P)
there're 199 of them,
it took me forever to look at them all.
woo, i wonder how long it took
for her to upload them all.

lil warning tho:
she didn't rotate any of her
vertically taken pics,
so be sure to.. um..
be in for alot of neck-ache :P

chem today was horrible.
didn't study at all yday cos
i was in the office until 7++pm.
got home and bathed around 9pm,
then i was online until 11+
'cos i wanted to help kuok pin with his blog.

then,
after i'd brushed my teeth and everything,
i realised that i had to
get the cf camp form edited and printed
by today for distribution,
so i had to come back into the comp room,
turn on the compy,
edit the form,
and print it out.

by the time i was done,
it was 12.29pm and my eyes were all puffy
from staring at the com too much.
so i just folded the edges of the pages
zcui'd tipped me off wif
and went to bed.

aaargh.
and there was actually heaps of time
before chem 3 started today
but liz and i were just so busy yakkering
that i only managed to finish readin up
perbezaan voltan and penyesaran logam
from bab 6's elektrokimia.

penyesaran came out,
but nth else did.
the paper was more interested
in knowing how to
mengkaji kereaktifan halogen
dalam tindak balas dengan ferum.

so, there go my hopes of a B.
and mebbe even a C.
aarggh... :'(

ooh, guess whut! :D
i got into my church's worship team!
i'm only a backup singer just yet,
so i'll be standing somewhere near the front
at the lower part of the stage.

after ps matt's msg,
i've sorta been prayin for a direction from Him
to noe how i may serve His cause.
and i guess this is it :D

u noe wut's the kewlest tho?
it's that ppl who want to be on the worship team
actually have to go thru an audition first,
and be on the praise team for a period of time
before they get promoted to the worship team.

and i've gotten in just like that! :D
soli Deo gloria! [glory be to God]
winnin the dream idol thing
must've been His will all along :)
'cos it was after singin Amazing Grace
that i got picked up :P

apparently, i've already missed one of the times
i was sposed to be on duty.
see i'm only on 1ce a month/sth
according to a duty roster :P,
but i didn't noe about it
so tml's gonna be my first time worshippin onstage.

have to be in church by noon tho
and i have tuit from 7.30am-11.30am,
so i really pray that i'll be able to find transport
to church to make it for practice on time.

mm,
the year end's so close
that it makes me feel quite sad.
s'been a really great yr.
so many things have happened
that i cudn't be more grateful for.

to think october's here.
to think cow's gonna graduate.
to think ee ween's gonna graduate,
and every other form 5-er i noe.
to think i won't ever see them in school nemore.

finally removed
the modified bday image cow made
'cos it'll look funny after my bday's passed for so long.
time flies too fast.
i wish i could live life over again.
even with all the ugly, painful parts.

gettin morbid here.
oh yeah, if you have the chance,
get heaven is so real.
it's a book written by a woman.
God was so pleased with her humble, serving spirit
that He brought her to heaven
and showed her what it was like.

mei yii blogged (go see!) about it
and i think heaven sounds beautiful.
haven't read it yet, but i'm dyin to.

so, go!
beat me to it :)
